Reactive Metals culture is one of total commitment to quality. This is acheived by the effective implementation of our quality policy which falls in line with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2000.

 

Furthermore and to ensure consistency of supply Reactive Metals only procure from ISO 9001: 2000 approved sources. 

 

Every piece of steel we supply is fully traceable and certified in accordance with EN 10204 3.1 and 3.2.  At your request third party inspection is also available including LLoyds, TUV, DNV, BV and additional material testing can be arranged if required by NAMAS / UKAS approved test houses.

 

Additional material testing includes but is not limted to  

 

  • Ultrasonic test according to ASTM & EN standards

  • Tensile, Yield, Elongation

  • Charpy V Notch Impact

  • Simulated Post Weld Heat Treatment (SPWHT)

  • Elevated Temperature  

  • Bend Test 

  • Through Thickness Reduction in Area (TTT)

  • Hydrogen Induced Cracking (HIC)

  • Sulphide Stress Corrosion Cracking (SSC)

  • Crack Tip Opening Displacement (CTOD) 

  • Intergranular Corrosion 

  • PREN Pitting Resistance 

  • Magnetic particle Inspection (MPI) 

  • Positive Material Identification (PMI)
